X. General Tribal Council
1. Withdraw call for special GTC meeting to reconsider GTC Dec. 15, 2013 action to dissolve Oneida Seven Generations Corporation
Sponsor: Ed Delgado
Oneida Eye isn’t exactly sure why Tribal Chair Delgado is withdrawing his demand that GTC hold a Special Meeting to “reconsider” its December 15, 2013 vote to dissolve Oneida Seven Generations Corporation.
Maybe someone finally explained to Ed in a way he could understand exactly why his insistence that GTC reconsider its vote to dissolve OSGC is ballot box poison, and so he decided it would be better to allow Loretta Metoxen to incur GTC’s wrath firsthand and have her petition to undermine GTC’s vote rejected instead.
Or perhaps Ed read Oneida Eye’s post which explains the irreconcilable nature of his call for GTC to reaffirm GTC Resolution 11-15-08-C which makes any agreement between the BC and/or OSGC with Gene Keluche / Sagestone Mgmt. that includes a confidentiality clause regarding compensation non-binding to the Tribe.
Speaking of Gene Keluche, he is scheduled to make a report as OSGC’s “agent” at 9 a.m. Tuesday February 11, 2014 at the BC’s Executive Session Discussion Meeting.
No word on whether the BC will honor Frank Cornelius’ request to be able to delegate a representative to attend the BC’s February Working Meeting regarding GTC’s directive to dissolve OSGC as noted in the December 17, 2013 BC Working Meeting Minutes.
