June 16, 2014 GTC Meeting Transcript, Or How Greg Matson Lost The Election [VIDEO ADDED]

Read the following draft transcript of the June 16, 2014 General Tribal Council Meeting and you’ll understand exactly how Former Business Committee Vice-Chair Greg Matson’s anti-democratic, authoritarian, and asinine conduct of the meeting caused Greg to lose the Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin’s July 12, 2014 General Election, including his multiple demands that GTC members’ microphones be cut off and his refusal to allow Frank Cornelius to provide GTC an update on the dissolution of Oneida Seven Generations Corporation even though Frank is GTC’s elected representative regarding the OSGC dissolution process.

MUST WATCH EXCERPT:

Note that the prepared statement read by Fmr. BC Sec. Patty Hoeft said, “We will keep you informed as we complete filings or receive decisions of the Court” regarding the lawsuit against the Tribe, OSGC, and GBRE in Cook Co., Illinois.

However, this has not been the case and Oneida Eye has had to spend hundreds of dollars to obtain copies of filings and decisions and make them available on this website.

Thank you to those who have provided financial & travel assitance.
