Media Reports On Oneida Seven Generations Corporation’s Illegal Open Flame Operation [UPDATED]

According to Development Division Director Butch Rentmeester, the equipment was first discovered in July 2013 during a semi-annual building inspection by Zoning Inspector Larry Cornelius who took photos of the equipment and also happens to be the uncle of Business Committee member Melinda Danforth.

When did the burning begin and which company did it and who knew about it, and where do they plan to apply for their next job after their employment is terminated for breaking the law or failing to report that the law was being broken?

General Tribal Council made its will to prohibit incinerators clearly known on May 5, 2013 and some people chose to subvert the will of GTC.

Thank you to OSGC for providing a perfect example of why GTC must dissolve OSGC on December 15, 2013.

GTC cannot trust OSGC to do the right thing and thus far hasn’t been able to trust the OBC to hold people accountable for doing the wrong thing, and much of the blame for the latter goes directly to Chairperson Delgado.

Sources have said that at the OBC’s Emergency Executive Session on Friday November 22, 2013 (which was recessed until Monday November 25) Chief Counsel Jo Anne House tried to persuade the OBC that they knew they had previously condoned, approved and permitted the use of 1201 O’Hare Blvd. for whatever open flame activities were going on there, but some OBC members said they did not approve such usage.

So who’s telling the truth, and who will be held accountable for deception or for failing to be knowledgable about what they were actually voting on?
