On August 9, 2013 a judgment was entered against Artley Skenandore, his company Swakweko LLC, and Indigenous Games USA Inc., in the amount of $275,653.60.
Here is the 2011 Form 990 for Indigenous Games USA which lists Artley Skenandore as Executive Director and lists his salary as $75,960.
Want to guess who was the Vice-Chair of Indigenous Games USA in 2011? Former Oneida Chairperson and current Tribal Financial Advisors‘ Tribal Board of Advisors Chairman Richard ‘Rick’ Hill. Surprised?
(Guess ol’ Tricky Rick didn’t give Artley very good financial advice. It’s odd that old BC members web pages haven’t been removed yet, but Tribal Secretary Patty Hoeft only has about seven or so assistants in addition to Tribal Information Officer Brenda John-Stevens and, honestly, there’s only so much time in the workday what with Facebook and online educational coursework being done on the clock.)
Care to guess who Indigenous Games USA Inc.’s ‘Registered Agent’ is with the WI Dept. of Financial Institutions? Atty. Brian L. Pierson of law firm Godfrey & Kahn. Surprised again?
And just who was Artley’s legal representative in this latest lost cause? Atty. Andrew S. Oettinger of…take a guess…official Weak Sauce™ manufacturer Godfrey & Kahn. At this point there’s no way you could possibly be surprised.
Added to the debt Artley may owe regarding his executive decision to improperly withhold payroll tax payments for Nature’s Way Tissue, he may need to try to find another job in addition to being Principal of Oneida Nation High School.
Perhaps Artley Skenandore should consider employment that doesn’t result in even more hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt for himself and/or whomever he tries to convince to pay for the various civil judgments against him.
