Here is a copy of the Brief of Respondent in WI Appeals Court Case 2013AP591, Oneida Seven Generations Corporation & Green Bay Renewable Energy, LLC., vs. City of Green Bay:
Not only has the Oneida Tribal Secretary’s office finally posted the May 5, 2013 GTC Meeting Action Report, but a new(er) version of Oneida Seven Generations Corporation’s Corporate Charter has also been posted on the Tribe’s website this week.
The newly posted version of OSGC’s Charter shows a revision date of “3-29-2012” as opposed to the version that the Secretary’s office was only recently purporting to be the latest version of the Charter dated “2-08-2012.”
Oneida Eye is still in the process of determining any differences between the February 2012 and March 2012 versions and will present findings its once a full analysis is made.
There’s no word yet on if/when/how Chief Counsel Jo Anne House will inform General Tribal Council about the reversal of her February 15, 2011 legal opinion on the topic of the legal and legitimate needs of General Tribal Council to have access to OSGC’s Disclosure Reports (she said then GTC should have access; she says now that they shouldn’t), but the question has been posed to the Chairperson’s office and Oneida Eye will report on any follow-up.
Speaking of changes, GTC members are encouraged to attend the Public Hearing being held tomorrow, Thursday July 18, 2013 at 12:15 p.m. at Norbert Hill Center in the Business Committee Conference Room to address Amendments to Elections Laws and the Comprehensive Policy Governing Boards, Committees and Commissions.
Here are copies of the proposed changes that will be discussed:
