Happy Anti-OSGC Anniversary, GTC!

It’s been one year since the General Tribal Council of the Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin voted to dissolve Oneida Seven Generations Corporation.

Due to various lawsuits OSGC is still hanging around like a bad odor and many questions remain unanswered, including whether Business Committee Treasurer Trish King and OSGC Agent Gene Keluche of Sagestone Management have ever been able to obtain access to the financial records of Oneida-Kodiak Construction which is (was?) 51% owned by the Tribe and 49% owned by Alliance Construction & Design.

Last year at this time OTIW CFO Larry Barton said that the Tribe did not have access to Oneida-Kodiak’s financial records due to a dispute between OSGC and Alliance.

So far it doesn’t seem that the Tribe has taken any legal action to recover Tribal property from Alliance, and Gene Keluche is currently listed by WDFI.org as Oneida-Kodiak’s ‘Registered Agent.’

Oneida Eye asked Trish King via email if the Treasurer’s Office or Gene Keluche have ever been able to obtain access to the Tribe’s property, but Trish King has not replied to questions.

Perhaps Trish King will have an answer by 6 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2015, at the GTC Budget Meeting given that her job description states that she’s supposed to be able to report all of the receipts and expenditures of the Tribe to GTC at such meetings.

It is unknown if Oneida-Kodiak Construction is included in the ongoing Oneida Housing Authority investigation or is the subject of other investigations.
