Oneida Gaming Commission: Corrupt & Nepotistic

Still no update on what actions have been taken regarding Oneida Bingo & Casino Surveillance Dept. employee Liane F. Melchert in light of this:

So, in addition to this:

…and this:

…what exactly did…

  • Oneida Gaming Commission Chair Shirley Hill (Liane’s mother)
  • former Oneida Gaming Commission Vice-Chair Amelia Cornelius (currently Chair of the Oneida Land Commission & Oneida Land Claims Commission)
  • Oneida Gaming Commission Counsel Atty. Bill Cornelius (also President & Chair of Oneida Seven Generations Corporation and other entities)
  • Oneida Gaming Commission Executive Director Tammy Van Schyndel (Liane’s niece)
  • Oneida Bingo & Casino General Manager Louise King Cornelius
  • Oneida Bingo & Casino Surveillance Dept. Director Janice Jourdan (Liane’s sister)
  • Oneida Payroll Dept. employee Elaine Parker (Liane’s sister)
  • former Oneida Land Commissioner Racquel ‘Rocky’ Hill (Liane’s sister)

…know about about this (page 7):

….and when did they know it, and – most importantly – what have they done about it? Or did they just ignore it and hope that no one else would notice?

What is newly elected Oneida Gaming Commissioner (and felon) Mark A. Powless intending to do about it?

What is the Oneida Business Committee intending to do about it?

What is General Tribal Council prepared to do about a Business Committee that seems to be unwilling to do anything about a Gaming Commission that appears to be at best clueless & useless, or – more likely – corrupt & nepotistic?

Is that the Oneida Bingo & Casino ‘brand’?

Is that the Oneida Nation’s ‘brand’?

Does it have to be?
